Michael Vogt joins Keeping Time to kick of the new 2019 season podcast!! Our first guest this year is Michael Vogt, formerly Marketing Director for a number of important watch brands turned entrepreneur and the creative genius behind the Vogard watch brand. Listen in as we chat and discover the excitement, passion and challenges that all go with creating a new watch brand, the likes of which had not previously been seen. Today, Michael Vogt’s breakthrough watch mechanism is found in a new range of IWC watches following the sale of his patent. This is the first in a new series of podcasts which delve into the challenges presented at every level of the watch industry, from different perspectives. Michael highlights the challenges, triumphs and pitfalls of creating an independent watch company.
