As autumn approaches, the spotlight shifts to one of the most anticipated moments in horology, the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG). Every November, Geneva transforms into a stage for innovation and artistry, where collectors, brands, and watch enthusiasts gather to celebrate the most extraordinary timepieces of the year. Since its founding in 2001, this world-class event has set the benchmark for luxury watch awards.

Behind the scenes, the GPHG Academy, made up of master watchmakers, journalists, collectors, and experts, plays a vital role in shaping the competition. Each year, they review hundreds of exceptional watches before nominating the standouts in categories that range from Men’s Complication to Chronograph, Sports, and more. This year, anticipation builds toward November 13th, 2025, when the 25th edition of the GPHG will take place at the new Geneva’s Bâtiment des Forces Motrices, where the world’s best watches will be crowned.

Part of the La Fabrique collection, this 37mm mono-pusher chronograph blends vintage design with modern precision. The yellow gold case with twisted lugs frames a luminous white dial with satin, grained, and snailed finishes. A telemeter scale highlights its historic function as a short-interval timing tool, blending heritage with modern precision. Diamond-polished accents and 3N gold markers add remarkable depth and refinement. First unveiled in 2022, it introduced a world-first mechanism that lets travelers realign time with one effortless gesture. The latest rendition pairs the 40mm stainless steel case with a platinum knurled bezel, framing a striking Verzasca Green dial inspired by the named valley’s mineral-rich waters. A Grain d’Orge guilloché pattern adds refinement, while the polished and satin-finished bracelet ensures both comfort and elegance. Every detail reflects the brand’s mastery of technical innovation and timeless design.

This innovation gives the watch durability while creating a satin-polished anthracite finish that reflects light with subtle elegance. The dial, treated with Blackor, displays a refined grey-black tone that enhances its modern sporting character. With 72 meticulously assembled components, every case element showcases Parmigiani Fleurier’s commitment to precision watchmaking and cutting-edge design.
