This year, the world renowned Swiss Haute Horology brand Audemars Piguet will once again join forces with The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) for the 17th Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II (QEII) Cup, a remarkable annual racing highlight that will attract worldwide attention. To mark this spectacular racing milestone, Audemars Piguet proudly unveils the Royal Oak Chronograph QEII Cup 2015 strictly limited to 200 pieces. The exquisitely crafted model perfectly showcases the brand’s pursuit of excellence, exclusivity and innovation under all circumstances.

To commemorate Audemars Piguet 17-year sponsorship of the QEII Cup, Audemars Piguet introduces the Royal Oak Chronograph QEII Cup 2015 Limited Edition featuring a unique chemistry blending contemporary design with traditional artistry.

A masterpiece of unparalleled craftsmanship, cutting-edge technology and performance, the model highlights the brand’s commitment to horological precision thanks to the self-winding calibre 2385, with a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and a 40-hour power reserve.

The 41mm titanium case sets off the silver dial framed by the iconic octagonal bezel and eight hexagonal screws. The “Grande Tapisserie” pattern on the dial accentuates the sophisticated elegance of the timepiece. The ruthenium grey counters and outer zone, the white gold luminescent hour-markers and Royal Oak hands add to the timeless appeal of this model. It also features a small second counter, 30-minute counter and 12-hour counter to ensure the highest precision. The watch is water-resistant to 50 meters.

The new 200-piece limited timepiece also features a glare-proofed sapphire crystal caseback engraved with the legend “QE II Cup 2015 – Limited Edition”, making it a true collectible for watch connoisseurs and enthusiasts.

In anticipation of the 17th Audemars Piguet QEII Cup, Audemars Piguet has scheduled a series of activities in April, which begins with the Selections Announcement held on April 9 to announce the 14 contending horses, followed by the Barrier Draw on April 23, where the horse connections will draw their stall number. On April 24, Audemars Piguet and HKJC will co-host a Gala Party where horse owners, jockeys, celebrities and distinguished guests will gather to celebrate this important racing event. The long awaited Audemars Piguet QEII Cup will finally take place at the Sha Tin Racecourse on April 26, bringing the audience endless thrilling moments.
