Czapek & Cie Unveils Promenade – A new limited collection that embodies the essence of modern sophistication.
The Promenade collection “is not just a timekeeping instrument, but also a canvas for creative expression” according to Czapek CEO Xavier de Roquemaurel. The three new timepieces evoke the essence of nature in their design, with hypnotizing effect, highlighted by grand feu enamel and guillochage.
Czapek Promenade Goutte d’eau
A single droplet of water creates a ripple in time – this premise is brought to life on the Czapek Promenade Goutte d’eau with the expertise of Donzé Cadrans. The collaboration led to a sapphire blue timepiece with an off-centered dial that creates an optical illusion that changes with every movement of the wrist.
Czapek has departed from tradition with the new Promenade collection, as shown on the Goutte de’eau. Its asymmetry refocuses the center on to the grand feu enamel finished ripples that echo from the small seconds dial placed at 4:30. The simplified dial, with its skeletonized hands and omittance of hour markers, allows the full attention to be on the masterful design.
Czapek Promenade Soleil Ivoire
The new Soleil translates the off-centered Promenade collection into a solar inspired guilloché design, available in two sophisticated hues. The first, Czapek Promenade Soleil Ivoire, shows off the brightest finely cut guilloché rays of sunshine radiating from the small seconds “sun” dial positioned at 4:30. A collaboration with Metalem let to this expertly crafted design that invigorates the wrist.
Inside, Czapek’s in house self-winding mechanical movement SXH5.1 maintains the slim profile of the watch with its micro-rotor calibre, providing a 60 hour power reserve on one single barrel. The beige Nubuck leather strap wears handsomely on the wrist, while an alternate stainless steel Milanese mesh bracelet is also available.
Czapek Promenade Soleil Bleu Nuit
The third timepiece from this newest collection transforms the Promenade Soleil into night with its midnight sun dial in a striking blue guilloché design. Every movement brings boldness to the wrist as light bounces off the expertly hand engine-turned design.
The reverse of the Promenade Soleil Bleu Nuit gives a clear view to the inner workings of this exemplary time-piece, courtesy of the sapphire glass case back with anti-reflective treatment. An elegant dark blue Nubuck leather strap completes the look of this stainless steel watch, while an alternative Milanese mesh bracelet is also available.
Czapek Antarctique Passage de Drake Afterglow

Afterglow retains the hallmarks of the Antarctique Passage de Drake collection, who’s namesake is courtesy of the tumultuous body of water that the Atlantic and Pacific oceans between Cape Horn and the South Shetland Islands of the Antarctic.
Afterglow brings a daring purple color to the registered “Stairway to Eternity” stamped “flinique” dial, obtained with PVD treatment. Czapek Antarctique Green Meteor
Another edition to the Antarctique collection, the captivating Czapek Antarctique Green Meteor is a spectacle onto itself. Crafted from Gibeon iron meteorite, the out of this world dial is finished with green polished lacquer for a standout explosion of color on the wrist.
The Green Meteor is powered by the Czapek in-house self-winding SXH5 mechanical movement with a variable-inertia balance wheel regulated by 4 small cylindrical inertia-blocks. The stainless steel 40.5 mm case wears perfectly on the wrist and brings a welcome cool contrast to the viridian dial.
