‘Get Mythic’ in Cherry Creek North Photo Contest!

Mythic Creatures have been spotted in Cherry Creek North!

These bright-colored, yarn-like, decorative creatures, with sprouting feet, horns or tails have found a home on the trunks of several Cherry Creek North trees. If you see them, do not hesitate, snap a picture right away!

This month, Cherry Creek North partnered with the Denver Museum of Nature and Science to bring Mythic Creatures to the district. In May, installations by the Ladies Fancywork Society began. This month, these knitted Mythic Creatures can be found in front of Little Feet, Heloise, Cherry Creek Dance, Belly Bliss and many more locations throughout Cherry Creek North.

From now until June 15, share a picture with your favorite Mythic Creature installation in the district using the hashtags #GetMythicCCN and #MythicInDenver for a chance to win a $100 Cherry Creek North gift card and 2 tickets to the Mythic Creatures exhibition at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Mythic Creatures: Dragons, Unicorns and Mermaids is currently exhibiting at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science until September 7, 2015. This exhibit explores the stories of wondrous creatures and uncovers the truths behind the myths. Encounter large models of mythic and real creatures, see real artifacts and fossils and create your own creature.
