Louis Erard expands the Excellence Petite Seconde collection with a trio of new bold and colorful timepieces – Ice Blue, Purple, and Midnight Blue. These vibrant watches, framed with a 39 mm steel case, celebrate the ethos of Louis Erard but with a contemporary on trend twist. Like their predecessors from this collection, the aptly named Petite Seconde showcases a small second subdial positioned at 6 o’clock. The signature fir tree crown and hands return, maintaining these recognizable features of the brand. This limited edition series will be available in 100-150 pieces annually.
Petite Seconde Ice Blue
Arguably a transcendent hue of elite timepieces, the cool glacier blue tone of the Petite Seconde Ice Blue shows off a dynamic sense of luxury on the wrist. The polished hands pop boldly in a rich cerulean hue, bringing a playful contrast to the frosty dial, while the tone carries through to the calf leather strap. Behind the scenes the Sellita SW261-1 keeps time ticking smoothly with a 28,800vph/4hz frequency and a 38 hour power reserve.
Petite Seconde Purple
Perhaps the most unexpected color of the three, the Petite Seconde Purple brings a playful whimsy to the wrist with this classic reimagined dress watch. The polished hands offer a handsome contrast to the dynamic plum hued dial, while the rich amethyst inspiration carries through to the calf leather strap. On the reverse the sapphire caseback gives a clear view into the automatic elaboré grade movement, complete with an openworked rotor accented by a black lacquered Louis Erard symbol. Petite Seconde Midnight Blue
The Midnight Blue is the final timepiece in the newest Petite Seconde trilogy. A testament to tradition, it’s handsome sapphire toned dial is complemented by the decadently dark calf leather strap. Like the violet version, polished rhodium hands tell time proudly against the striking dial. All three editions from the latest collection feature a 50 meter water resistance and are complete with quick release spring bars allowing the straps to be changed without hesitation.
